What Noel said.

Also those links are 2 years old or older, and some of them are not even associated with the kind of business that James Mondragon is conducting in Texas.

I've written a bad check before. Got arrested for it. The amount? $72.48 or somewhere around there. that was from April of 2001. Got arrested for it during a traffic stop in February of 2009. Spent the night in jail? Does that make me a dishonorable person? Possibly to some.

And just to satisfy my own interests, as I do work for Jimmy, I did some research last night with regards to what people are saying he's doing in Texas. I have not found one lawsuit filed against James Mondragon, Jimmy Mondragon, Jimmy Intent, Massive Intent, or Brian Delancey in Travis County or the state of Texas.

I've never heard of him not paying the DJs. The track record speaks for itself. Why do you think you see some names repeated at shows. It's not because they weren't paid. That's for sure.

And if this true:
Divas 09- MI GOES BROKE!!! FAIL BLOG!!!
OIABM 09 - XP ok but still a fail

Then how was Ferry Corsten booked?
and how was the talent for Spring Love booked? Usually if a company is "broke", it can't pay for anything. So how was the venue paid for for Spring Love 2 and for the Showtek event?

This is definitely getting to be a "hey I found information" on blah, blah blah. Really, get a job or a real life.

I looked at those "lawsuits" and other BS. Honesty who cares what happened in 2000 or 2004 with Jimmy? Not the 10's of thousands that actually go to Massive Intent's events and enjoy them.

Its even funnier seeing post on how Massive Intent lost money on XX show so, the show was not good? What a crack up. I could care less if they lose money every time. We all go to party. No one knows or should even care about there financial backing but, obviously its good enough if they are still trucking along. Sh*t if their losing and still going I say "Thank you" for letting me party on your dime.

The only people really bitching are DJ's that dont get booked or people supporting their girlfriend or boyfriends B.S.

The tree house tribe may be mad about new years but, who really cares? Most people do not even know who they are(no offense) Plus who paid for their headliner and his flights that never got repaid because they cancelled? (Massive Intent, Jimmy)

your links about contract breaches are in cali ?????? what the *** does that have to do with austin partys and contract breaches here??? it has nothing to do with what happend this past weekend. I HAVE ALWAYS GOT PAYED . I HAVE WITNESSED EVERYONE ELSE GET PAYED SO STFU AND QUIT BITCHING. SHOWTEK/THERE MANAGEMENT DIDNT WANT TO ACCEPT PAYMENT... ITS THERE *** FAULT THE END. I was one of the ones trying to get a hold of them also and no one was *** answering there phones!!! the money was there. what the *** is so hard to understand now?

Im confuzzled     22 June 2010 19:23 | huh?
Tom... WHAT?!?!?!?! O.o

Im confused. What does that have to do with whoever posted the whole MI exposed thing? Its still jimmy. The point was not the night club, he didnt even own it. The point was that i got is that all the links are cold hard evidence that James David Mondragon aka jimmy with massive intent has been screwing people over for years and he has court cases and law suits littering the ground wherever he goes. He is about 3 million in debt right now.... sooooooo i dont see how anything tom said is relevant

Tom     22 June 2010 19:03 | Austin, TX
Dude, a fictitious business name in California is the same as a DBA (Doing Business As) in Texas. it's something that every business owner has to get to register their business name with the state. I have several here in Texas - you just go down to the Tax office, fill out a form, and give them $16. It's completely routine, and your interpretation of the law is fail.

"California State law (Business and Professions Code section 17910) requires that every person, partnership, corporation, or other association, who regularly transacts business in California for profit under a Fictitious Business Name, file a statement with the County in which the principal place of business is located. Part of the filing requirement is that the statement be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the County in which the business is located."

What the fact that Jimmy owns a nightclub 2500 miles from Austin has to do with anything, I don't know.

Links to a rave board where people are bitching isn't relevant to this either, nor are the rest of your ad hominem fallacies.* Just because you think Jimmy's a piece of shit doesn't mean he couldn't have been in the right in this case, and for you to claim otherwise is intellectually dishonest.

Oh, and FTR everybody, ShowTek's manager actually emailed me. I'm going over what he says and verifying a few things, but it was cool that he took the time to talk to me about this.

Soeki, any statement I make is purely my opinion, don't group me in with the company me and my friends started FROM OUR HOUSE. I have the information, I'm looking at it, and the conclusion is the same, broke or not, Massive Intent has *** plenty of people, and I just hope that you can afford lube.

I posted all of that on the Massive Intent "Showtek - Greedy" Thread.

Fictitious doesn't mean false in the sense of a business. The collections and hot checks are part of the same lawsuit.

I'm on your side, but you're only pulling evidence that has already been brought to light over a year ago on Teknosounds.

Can anyone provide hard factual evidence that Jimmy Intent has *** them over?

Jimmy has had about 7 Civil suits filled against him in the past few years. Im confident enough that in no more than 2 years were all gonna get raped and then Massive Intent will dissapear AGAIN to another city. HERE IS ALL MY SOURCES AND PROOF!!! Dont say shit till you read these because this is the very root of all the problems.

People are looking for him due to all his shady shady past buisness actions. SHOWTEK is not at fault. Jimmy has taken money from the community once again and will prolly do it again. Seriously guys... Alex and everyone else has been right. Im sorry Andrew but your about to get screwed over by a man that has no respect for anyone or anything that he does.

O and here is the Sacramento Court Case of a civil suit on James Mondragon for a Contract Breach, Bad Checks,

Also Soeki, I would love to know how you continuously disregard all of the hard EVIDENCE against Massive Intent. MI is, at least, in the dog house for past similar offenses....

Harmony     22 June 2010 17:43 |
Soeki, just because 3 out of 30+ people in THT are upset and voicing their criticism does not speak for all of Treehouse Tribe. Nate B has not said one thing regarding the Showtek show or MI. (BTW, he didn't even want to play NYE bc wanted to spend NYE in a more intimate setting. I'm not sure where that little rumor came from..) Besides that, we REFUNDED all Heroes VS Villains tickets and lost thousands of dollars on that show.. Where are the Showtek refunds?

Paul     22 June 2010 15:47 |
